I highly recommend this car to some one who wants that larger car but with a proven reliable Engine that is the 2.0 TDI ENGINE 138 BHP, because the mpg is super. I change me oild and filter every 3000 miles keeps the engine sweet and no gunk build up in the engine and lets face it oil change and filter is super cheap enough to do. My car renturns between 48 -53.7 mpg thats for town and running to shops and the odd trip and work ect on the motorway i get confirmed over 60 - 64 mpg you cannot complain for that and some brand new suv do not get anywhere near that and those are brand new cars, go figure. I,m now in the market for my next vw cc diesel, yes i rate them very much. I had a few cars 2 mercs hated them, fords, volvo but for me now my choice is vw, is super reliable engine never fails starts first everytime, just look after your car. Like me don,t just drive it into the ground, ive changed brakes my self, so a saving there straight away im no expert i just learned how to do it. I put a k and n air filter in another difference and yes they are much much better so just go get one. I love the boot its huge and i do mean huge its super. Came with that very silly space saver wheel i sold mine and got proper wheel as my spare no messing about job done as they say, i full black leather recarro seats and are bucket seats they do a great job as you don,t slip and slide all over your seat on turns like a lot of cars do. Ive lots of toys on mine, and for year it even has self levelling headlights a big surprise for me and those illuminate turn left or right headlight lights that come on and go off once you have made the turn, not fussed abot these lilghts a bulb is a bul to me. You would be surprised what you get with diesel GT, sat nav, blue tooth, ac, fully independent climate controls, electric seats which for me i don,t see the point i never use them at all or if ever hardly. Fully heated both with 3 settings , front rear parking senses, i installed a aftermarket reverse camera and is a better qauilty one also. Always remember if you don,t get satnav or cameras remember you can go to a good quality ice center to get a good qaulity system installed problem solved and a lot more toys that way too. You get normal, comfort and sport mode for suspention, auto hold ect again not bothered about things like this at all, start stop nope not botherd im very happy with my MPG and is a great to show people who on new cars get new where near and mine is proven and confirmed mpg, look after this car it will look after you, i find the car i like and im def getting another one very soon, Do i rate them yes i def do rate this car with this engine in and highly recommend it on your list of good cars, very underrated car, I love it ...

For me the CC GT 2.0 TDI 140 BHP is very over looked, i love the shape and style, its totally different from any other car on the road. On fuel i,m averaging 47.8 - 53.7 Mpg work and citry driving on the motorway is 67.8 roughtly give or take, so as you can imagine i,m smiling big time when i here about modern day cars only achieving poor mpg from 27 _ 35 mpg not all cars but most are pretty poor, the suspention is great and firm but smooth just how i like it, glides over rough roads. Starts first time every time, and i,ll be fair it has a lot of toys i did,nt expect and i love the full black leather Recaro seats just heaven to sit in, very easy to drive and easy to adjust too, people always moan about silly things, but its a great car. I made sure i got teh front and read sensors on my model as standard so make sure you do your home work on what model you want, i got the 6 speed manual gear box is very easy to drive in 5- or 6 th is city just feather it along and its quite at home. I don,t wait i change parts when i need them but way before they brake, i regularly do oil changes and new filters its peanuts for what it is, so i don,t mind. people say oh this goes and that goes but i don,t keep driving with worn out parts, remember people parts do wear out so get them changed ahead of time, don,t keep driving around for months on end with already worn out parts. The Boot is super huge which i fully love, trust me its huge. Lots of room in the cabin, all regular toys, for me i did not like the vw media system so i bought what model i wanted then had a really nice after market system fitted at a respectable car audio shop and now it up market again, of which came with reverse camera on the system which again is super cool to have. Just maitain the Cc and it will look after you, it has the TDI Engine and i assure you its super reliable. I love my CC very much and its the best car i,ve ever had, for me i,m sticking with VW,s. As i like proper reliability not just guessing at it, and the cc coupled with the super TDI Engine you really can,t got wrong. I,ve not had any problems in 4 years, just regular parts, tyres, brakes, oils ect ect oh i had new battery because it was original but again that aside i,m very happy chappy. Would i Reccomend this Car, absolutely .........

Love it

Not for everyone but such a nice car to own. The sleek looks combined with black paint, tan leather seats and tinted rear windows, makes people look twice, without ever feeling posey.   I haven't had this many comments about a car since my Toyota Celica 1600ST back in the 70s!  I've owned it for over a year - totally reliable, not quick from a standing start but plenty in the engine once up and running with 170 bhp. This is my first automatic and I'm sold on it. I've achieved 67 mpg on a long run.  Lots of gadgets, which I do like messing with - my favourite being the auto hold braking system, no handbrake! Negatives - it is low and it's an effort to get in and out, it has a sport mode on the DSG  and 3 suspension modes which I play with sometimes but it doesn't make a lot of difference, just high revving and extra visits for fuel.  The boot is huge - bigger if you flatten the seats but it's no hatchback! Three seats in the rear but put 3 adults in the back and you'll face a mutiny after the first corner! My next car will be a newer CC.

Just bought my 3rd one year old cc. Great looking spacious car that is also economical to run. The fact that it converts to a 2 seater estate is a bonus. Looked around at other makes but nothing offered the same value for money.

Got this car 9 months ago following a disastrous 6 years with Mercedes of most types, this was the best move I made, the VW cc is the most comfortable and reliable car I have owned. MB or VW, no contest get the VW.

This car was 15 months old when purchased and has given good service although it is loaded with far too many gadgets which don't get used. First large diesel car I have owned and wish I had gone for a petrol engine. Also regret not going for an automatic although have never had one before. Comfort could be a little better but that might just be the shape of my body. Car is good looking and has good performance but not sure whether it would suit everyone. The VW modification has been carried out and doesn't appear to have made any difference to the car.

Beautiful looking and sleek. Great car to drive and I tow a trailer for camping which it copes with easily. Extremely comfortable and good leg room for rear passengers. Fantastic fuel economy and a huge boot, love it.

The CC is delightful to look at, is very well appointed and has an excellent performance. The interior comfort is of a very high standard with leather seats and clear, well laid out instrumentation. The DSG gearbox is seamless and the engine willing and sporty giving very good acceleration. The boot is enormous and very easily accessible. The road handling is sure and feels very safe. A really very good example of Volkswagen renown build quality.

The car has been my main vehicle for the past three years. It is comfortable, generally reliable, has good performance and is stylish. Its running costs are mostly what I expected when I bought it (i.e. it's not a lightweight car, but the diesel engine mitigates this), although it did go through its first set of front tyres at 17,000 miles. Minor niggles with the satnav and radio were corrected under warranty. If I have one complaint about the car, it is that the heating/ventilation/AC controls are a bit fiddly and distracting while on the move. Otherwise, I'm perfectly happy with the car.

A great looking car, very comfortable seating and built for effortless long-distance cruising. Economy is good (50+ mpg)without sacrificing economy with the well-proven 2 litre diesel engine. Steering lacks feeling and tyre noise can be a nuisance on some road surfaces, otherwise one not to be overlooked if you are looking for comfort with economy.
