Just paid £1000 for a convertible 307 done 70,000 miles and it is amazing. Love the car , it’s punchy holds the road and fun to drive. Not a lot of room in car if I drive as have seat right back but if wife drives then kids can get in  the back. It looks good and I am happy with it. Very comfortable for me and love the leather seats. Can’t give a mpg review yet as still playing

My husband had this car as a company car from new. We then bought it for me for when his car up for renewal. Best decision we made. Had just under 70,000 when it became mine. Now has 152,000. Had a big break down about 5 years ago and apart from eating bulbs (always changing those) this car is my trusted steed. Hubby keeps saying change it. Usually that would send me running to the garage but this car I wont let him.

Cheeky little mover!

I was looking for an economical little run around, for about £2,000. Looked at a smart car, alittle Micra or a small Renault. However when I saw the 307 I remembered driving the 206 tdi a few years back and how imprest I was with it. So I took this one for a test and fell in love with it, again. This Hdi has full leather seats and 99% of the extras going for the range, Pro's, drive carefully it can be as econmical as my wifes Yaris 1400 diesel, it also has the ability to eat up motorway miles in comfort, which the Yaris lacks! And it has the good handling of the Peugeot hatches too. The only con I have found is the wipers can detect rain, or what it thinks is a dirty windscreen, and squirt the washers without warning, which can be a bit disconcerting in bright sunshine! Downside too is the cost of servicing, spares and repairs, which will be more expensive than 'a little run about', but I'm prepared to put up with that for the fun I get driving it!

I have had this car for 10 years. Bought at 66000 miles and have driven 100000 miles since in all conditions and in many countries. It has always performed splendidly, both mechanically and economically. I would like to keep it going for as long as possible.

Bought second hand just a year ago (2015). It's been very reliable and has just passed it's mot with only two small advisories which were easy to do and at a reasonable price. It's not my usual type of car, having run Jaguars for years, bit to be fair not a bad little car for what it is.

Very reliable (never broken down), good performance- but dual mass flywheel problematical.

I bought my car 3 years ago with 200 000 on the clock. So far nothing is wrong with it,it drives nicely, very powerful on the motorway.Only it is not so frugal around town, but I'm not complaining,it's a price you pay if you want a big, spacious car to be fast.My previous 106 1.6 petrol was more fun to drive, but it's a totally different story.Peugeot is excellent used car to own, only it has to be well maintained by previous owner.I 'll by one anytime.

All i can say is i have had my car for 2 weeks. I drove it through france and spain . All was good until yesterday when i had a light saying i have a problem with the particulate filter. This is a new type of filter and is not cheap to replace. And when blocked the car runs slow . Its turning out to be a bit of a mare

The 307SW is a great car, a really good mid-point between a regular 307 (or similar) and a full-sized estate car. With a really good boot space, and the ability to remove the back seats completely, it has great load options especially for less frequent loads such as camping trips or visits to Ikea! Internal comfort is excellent. Glass roof as standard is a really good touch. Only downside is that the idiots at Peugeot don't make it anymore. I'd like a new 307SW in Diesel/electric please :)

Comfortable, spacious 5-7 seats, with flexible/removable seating arrangements. Diesel engine regularly gives 50mpg. Most problems are to do with engine management system and the particulate filter. After 3 years of problems it is finally running well.

NOT A "RACERS" CAR, BUT A GOOD RELIABLE , COMFORTABLE AND PRACTICAL FAMILY SALOON, WITH REASONABLE RUNNING COSTS. THESE COMMENTS ARE BASED ON OVER 20 YEARS OF OWNING PEUGEOTS.

Now done 140,000 miles in 9 years. Found main dealers over-charge for services and use a local garage for work. Very happy with my car.

I bought the car from new, I previously owned a VW Golf. This car has a similar engine and thus performs very similar. The extra space is very useful and it is pretty economic to run. The seats are not as comfortable and the driving position makes my back ache. I've had a few niggley problems with the electrics, but have been told this is common with French cars. My golf was such a good car that I couldn't give the Peugeot a five star at all except for space.

I've owned this car for 5 years - very reliable and not too expensive to run. A little underpowered for its weight on longer journeys.

It is so economical and we can put bikes and the dog in it we go camping and have driven across Spain in it and it delivers the economy figures the manufacturer boasts sat high up it gives a good view of the road with the exception of the front pillar when looking sideways....only gripe is the usual peugeot weakness as with the 306 it eats rubber bush mounts on supension link at the front Harrogate has a lot of sleeping policemen on the road system?
