In over 25 years of motoring I've never been able to keep a car longer than a couple of years, mainly due to boredom, but I just couldn't bring myself to part with this one,so kept it for another two years. Practical, spacious ,quick enough around town with pretty good handling. smooth and comfortable on a long run and rear passengers are able to recline and adjust there legroom to suit, Seats 4 adults and 2 children comfortably,rear most seats have a separate air conditioner to make up for the non opening back windows. Cam chain engine for piece of mind and reliability,which is second to none. Bought mine at 11 years old with around 100000 and weirdly just grew to love it It's not the prettiest car in the world definitely looks nicer from the rear imo. There aren't loads of these around, so you do get that car club thing going on, where other stream owners give you that acknowledgement nod. If money's tight and you can manage to find one that's been looked after,it will serve you well for years,but parts are not cheap,so do your homework first. A

Probably the best car the pair of us have had in nearly 40years... It's now 12 years old 80k miles. suffered a bit from other idiots in car parks and the paintwork no longer gleams. The only things that have had to be replaced are such as brakes, clutch battery, tyres and exhaust. It still drives extremely well and has survived 4 children. the only real complaint is that whilst there is a new Stream in Japan, it hasn't been brought to the UK
