Peugeot provides summer highlights

Ahead of the new "57" registration plate’s launch on September 1st, French manufacturer Peugeot has taken time to highlight some additions to its collection.

The 4007 – which is the company’s first sports utility vehicle – is set to debut in late summer and is aimed at giving drivers "the best of both worlds".

It includes HDi diesel engine technology and an "on demand" four-wheel drive option, which could be ideal for families who enjoy the open road.

Also on offer is the Peugeot 207 SW, which joins the 207 hatchback and coupe cabriolet models already available.

Extra features which could set the 207 SW apart from the rest are more interior space, a full-length glass roof and larger boot capacity for those who need a slightly more practical vehicle.

Last but not least is the 308, which excited customers can test drive from September.

Longer and wider than the 307, it also includes improved safety equipment and emission-reducing technology.

In related Peugeot news, the marque announced yesterday it is to supply a total of 280 vehicles for the forthcoming Rugby World Cup.
