Overall rating 4.5/5
The C-Class has been Mercedes’ most popular sedan, offering a mix of size, practicality, luxury and comfort. Over the last three decades, the luxury sedan has transformed itself into a miniature version of the desirable S-Class.

Overall rating 4.5/5This humble sedan came into existence as the W201 190E and 190D, often known as the Baby Benz due to its compact dimensions and affordable price tag. Mercedes-Benz then rebranded it as the C-Class, positioning it as an attainable version of the bigger E and S-Class luxury sedans.
You expect a level of comfort and class with a Mercedes badge, and that sums up the C-Class experience. Despite being priced lower than other Mercedes-Benz models, the C-Class has always been an outright luxury sedan, offering class-leading comfort and refinement. Yes, it might not be as sporty as a BMW 3 Series or as technologically advanced as an Audi A4, but the Mercedes offers more than enough luxury and comfort for the price, making it a popular pick. There have been five generations of the C-Class, including wild AMG versions such as the revered C63 AMG. As a used luxury sedan, it’s hard to not look at the C-Class. It just happens to tick all your boxes and more importantly, it has the three-pointed badge on its nose.
