The Mercedes EQA is all-electric, regardless of the numbered badge. Early 250 models use a 66.5kWh battery and are front-wheel drive. The 250+ has a bigger 70.5kWh battery and improved range. As an EV, the EQA’s efficiency is measured in miles per kWh: expect between 3.3 and 4.3 miles/kWh, which translates to 260-346 miles of range per charge depending on your battery and driving style. Charging from 10-80% at a fast charger takes about 30-35 minutes, or overnight at home.

Early signs from owners and reviewers are positive – the EQA uses tried-and-tested hardware adapted from Mercedes’ GLA, and electric cars generally require less servicing.
