Used BMW X6
While the first-generation car certainly kicked things off, we’re focusing on the second-generation car here - made between 2014 and 2019 - as it brings more modern features and a lot more equipment, but remains a good-value option on the used market. Given that it’s based on the same platform as the X5, it’ll come as no surprise that the X6 shares many aspects with its more conventional cousin. However, as with the original car, the second-generation X6 has a far sleeker and more aerodynamic design which still looks fresh today.
Despite that heavily raked roofline, it still offers a vast amount of space inside, while a well-sized boot makes this car more practical than you might think.
Pros
Striking design still looks fresh
Lots of interior and luggage space
Refined quality makes this car great at long distance trips
Cons
Roofline does impede rearward visibility
Large size makes the X6 tricky to park
Ride is very firm, particularly on sportier models
