Mercedes-Benz happens to be the oldest carmaker in the world. Established in 1886, it was Karl Benz who patented the motorcar. The brand basically took off from there and is inarguably one of the most renowned in the world.

A-Class is the manufacturer's smallest model, and, as a premium hatchback, is something of an entry-level Mercedes for those uninitiated with its characteristic refinement and maturity.
