Travel agent scoops Ford Fiesta first prize

A travel agent has won a brand new Ford Fiesta because of her strong efforts in ensuring customers book to go on holiday.

Laura Sidebottom, who works at Classic Collection in Worthing, scooped the vehicle after registering the most bookings for airline and tour operator in the first quarter of the year.

Ms Sidebottom made 171 bookings between January 1st and March 31st, with prizes also on offer for those who finished as the runners-up.

She said: "In turbulent times like these, it’s great to have such worthwhile incentives for travel agents.

"The industry is proving difficult at the moment, but when you know a car is up for grabs, it really motivates you to get selling."

Furthermore, the Ford Fiesta was given two accolades at the What Car? 2009 Awards – the Car of the Year 2009 and the Best Supermini.

Meanwhile, it also comes with a range of features and specifications including a quick-clearing heated windscreen for icy days and a fuel system that fails to allow the wrong fuel to be put into the vehicle by mistake.
