First launched in 1976 with the aim of spicing up Ford's range - using the Spanish word for party as its name in the process - the Fiesta was a new model that served as Ford’s smallest car yet. It was an instant hit, with models flowing off the production line at quite a rate, to the point that just three years after production started, a million Fiestas had been produced.
Sadly, the Fiesta’s time has come too early, as Ford discontinued the model in 2023. The Ford Fiesta is a great used car purchase with various generations to choose from. There’s also the Fiesta ST - a textbook example of an affordable hot hatch.
