Crash tested by Euro NCAP in 2016, the Ford Edge was awarded the maximum five-star rating. Testers praised the car’s adult and occupant child protection and it scored well for safety assistance systems, too. Being such a large car, there’s a good chance that the Edge could have been subjected to some parking damage, so take a look around all of the corners of the car to make sure that there aren’t any scuffs or grazes. Likewise, give all of the key electrical switches a go. Cars made before 2016 did get hit with a recall concerning the LED headlights, so make sure that this has been completed if the car you’re looking at qualifies.
