The Honda FR-V offers something a little different for UK families: a compact people carrier with seating for six adults yet still plenty of boot space for prams or luggage. Produced from 2004 to 2009, this MPV also shines for its premium quality cabin, smooth drive and typically steadfast Honda reliability. All this comes without taking up extra space on the road and plenty of head and legroom. With its innovative layout, the FR-V rivals the Vauxhall Zafira. Post-2007 models benefit from refined looks and a better diesel engine – known for more economy and an even more relaxed ride.
