The Honda e:NY1 comes with advanced safety kit including autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, parking sensors and a reversing camera. Euro NCAP gave it a four-star rating, scoring it high for adult and child protection, but average for vulnerable road users.

The Honda e:NY1 is only available as an electric car. Earlier e's offered two power outputs, but all recent UK models have a 152bhp electric motor and a 35.5kWh battery with rear-wheel drive. There are no petrol, diesel or hybrid options available.
