Renault’s "ever popular chic supermini", the Clio, is to have a number of new features added to its range, the manufacturer has announced today.
A new three-door special edition Clio TomTom will be available, with a portable sat-nav system as standard in 1.2 16V and 1.5 dCi 68 models.
This car is suited to "the style-conscious who also want comfort and practicality, as well as the latest technological advances", according to the automaker.
Along with the Modus, the Clio will also be the first Renault to feature the new 1.2 turbo control efficiency (TCE) engine, a unit which reportedly offers economical benefits without sacrificing power.
This powerplant has an economy rate of 47.9mpg on a combined cycle and a top speed of 114mph.
The final introduction is the Dynamique SX version of the Clio, which incorporates front, rear and side skirts and a body-coloured rear spoiler as standard.
Renault’s new 1.2 TCE engine will be available with this model, delivering a top speed of 118mph, a combined economy rate of 61.4mpg and emissions of 123g/km.
