New Honda TV channel ‘to bring consumers closer’

Automobile manufacturer Honda has launched its own television channel on which it will push new products and company news.

The firm will broadcast over the internet, a decision made based on the popularity of video-sharing sites in the UK.

People interested in Honda cars and its advertising can log onto in order to view various clips.

Ian Armstrong, customer communications manager at the company, commented that the platform was an "ideal" method of sharing the firm’s media with customers.

"Our TV advertising campaigns and our involvement in F1, motorbike and powerboat racing, means we produce a lot of compelling programming which the public actually wants to see," he said.

One Honda advertisement which may be found on the site is the Choir promotion.

During this commercial, a choir of sixty people sang the car noises of a Honda Civic as a video of the vehicle was played.
