Expert Opinion

As a variation of the existing Citroen C3, the stylish supermini the Pluriel is an innovative car which allows its driver to personalise and transform it to suit their needs. This is done by removable side rails and a retractable canvas roof, which transforms it into either a four seat convertible, or into something of an urban pick up when its rear seats are folded. With nowhere in the car to store the detachable elements however, it can prove slightly cumbersome or awkward if trying to alter the car when not somewhere with storage space. Its 1.4 litre petrol engine offers a confident and smooth drive on the road though, and while it might not be quite as dynamic as a more conventional convertible, there is plenty of typically Citroen style to make it an attractive urban option.
