Mitsubishi started selling cars in the UK back in 1974, originally under the name of the Colt Car Company. After that, it continued to deliver cars which offered good levels of value with rock-solid reliability, bringing cars like the Lancer and L200 pick-up to market until its decision to leave the UK in 2021.

One of its most notable cars was the Outlander - a family-focused SUV which got a jump on the rest of the market thanks to its plug-in hybrid engine setup, which was a rarity at the time.
