After much anticipation, Renault has revealed more details on its new Scenic Conquest line of cars which will be available in UK showrooms from June.
Initially, two engines are on offer, with the 2.0-litre VVT 136 priced at £17,945 and the 1.9-litre dCi 130 costing £19,135. Two further engine specifications will be available in September.
Advertising for the new models will be pitched with a ‘It’s a city country thing’ slogan, with the car manufacturer confident it will suit drivers in both the city and the countryside.
One change involves the chassis which has been raised 20mm, meaning obstacles in both urban and rural environments are more easily surmountable, with strengthened suspension also helping to achieve this.
The versatility of the car is also reflected in the interior, which boasts impressive storage options – seats to the rear can be moved forward, folded or taken out altogether to create more space.
Additional features, which come as standard, include rear parking proximity sensors, 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, ABS, front and rear electric windows and leather steering wheel.
