Overall rating 4.5/5
Although arguably not the most attractive car on the roads, the boxy crossover SUV, Skoda Yeti, is a solid all round car, which while not always the most thrilling, is capable and competent at all times.

Overall rating 4.5/5The Skoda Yeti, was in 2013 placed at the top of a satisfaction survey completed by UK drivers. Scoring highly for its reliability, its practicality and for being enjoyable to drive. Interior space is good, although not market leading, but big windows bring in plenty of light, while equipment levels are generous (air con, CD player, electric front windows). Pick of the engines - unsurprisingly - is the 2.0 TDi, which marries good economy with suitable power, although the Yeti Greenline offers better efficiency. The Yeti isn't the best looking car, nor does it offer the best drive, but it is practical, reliable and affordable, three things it's hard to not find satisfying.
