Love the Zafira. Perfect car for a family. Everybody and everything fits in so well. Will definitely buy another Zafira when I need to change.

Loads of room. Very good for two large dogs, sadly only one now. Great for luggage and dogs for a holiday. Bit noisy as in ice cream van. Easy to drive and for the first 3 years very reliable not so now. It's served its purpose well.

I find my Zafira comfortable & easy to drive. It's a great family car with loads of space and flexibility with regard to number of seats and amount of luggage space. The main drawbacks for me are the costly road tax and the poor fuel efficiency for town driving. I find it efficient for longer journeys on trunk roads and motorways. I will miss the Zafira when the time comes to sell it and downsize.

Great space and easy to set up extra seats in boot. Has proved expensive for repairing items that have corroded - exhaust- or just stopped working - fan heater. Does have large bars at side of windscreen that restricts visibility at times. Easy to drive otherwise - shame about costs of keeping it running!

After saying for years, I would never buy a people carrier, I bought the Zafira because of its low price. I wish I had bought one years ago. It is comfortable and reliable with a huge luggage carrying capacity. And it has extra seats for the grand children.

We have had this car for 11 years & have been really pleased with it's all round performance, it is not a luxurious car but is practical & it's so adaptable from 5 seats to 7seats. We have recently had a few maintenance problems but with a car of this age this would be expected.

This is one if the best cars I've had which allows me to travel with my dog in comfort and safely. Storage space is phenomenal with rear sliding seats to increase boot space. Only draw back is fuel consumption and associated running costs. My next one will be deisel.

I have had this vehicle from new and have covered over 110,000 miles and have found the boot-size to be excellent for ferrying my student off-spring to and from university with their worldly possessions. The fact that it seats 7 has more recently come into play with parents giving up driving and so can still take them on family days out without compromising too much on comfort. Being a diesel it is the most economical vehicle I have owned and typically averages over 50mpg on all driving but on motorways up to 60mpg. Mostly reliable it has required a new alternator at 85,000 miles, a new clutch and flywheel at 98,000. I do feel that it is poor design or lack of quality of materials used that a new clutch also necessitates a new flywheel. I have heard that clutch and flywheel replacement is common across other makes of cars as well so it's not just a Vauxhall issue.

Very pleased with this car and love driving it.

Comfortable economical very good on fuel would recommend my 1.7 Ecoflex anytime to anyone .

terribly uncomfortable seats but fine otherwise

The car has been ideal. Have 4 children and this suited the transition from a larger people carrier to smaller one as the kids grew up and no longer needed transported around. The diesel gave economy which is important when raising a large family.

they should never have put a 1600 engine in the zafira

My family and I love our Zafira. It is extremely practical and comfortable. It feels spacious inside but it is not a huge looking 4 x 4. Inside the car has everything we need and with the extra 2 seats in the boot it caters for a family trip or a taxi for my children and their friends!! Would buy a Zafira again and again.

a great all round economical family car,,,

Bless my Zafira, bought her from new in 2004 due to increasing size of family! She has been to France and back at least 5 times and no problems, she always got us there and home again. Has proved endlessly reliable to our family on holidays. She has transported fridgefreezers, front-doors, building materials etc etc and she has never complained! She is a proud old girl and I wouldnt be without her.

I was vary eager for several years to buy a Zafira. When I did I bought it new. It was fine at the time but is now aging. I have had it serviced annually and have had no major problems mechanically but the car is very expensive to run. My mileage is not high and as the vehicle is functioning adequately I do not immediately propose to trade it in but I find the costs of running and in particular the fuel consuption poor

I have found this vehicle to be a very useful item that at the drop of hat can accommodate 7 passengers (my wife, daughter,son-in-law,granddaughter and grandson and I so easily) it is also the perfect vehicle to go on holiday as it can handle all our luggage with ease when we visited Southern Ireland, France and very many places all over the UK. It has proved to be a very reliable and this current one is the second version we have owned, all in all a very good buy.

I have had this car from new, it has been very reliable, and comfortable, well worth the money spent.
