Automobile manufacturer Seat is looking to "take the worry out of winter motoring" by offering a check for its drivers.
The firm stated that it will be giving customers a free wash and vacuum, in addition to a one-litre bottle of oil worth in excess of £10.
Motorists can have the Seasonal Safety Check performed "for a reasonable price", with assessors carrying out a 32-point visual inspection and a brake and battery check.
Colin Dick, Seat UK parts and service planning manager, stated that the test is worthwhile as winter is a tough season for vehicles.
"By acting now and having these simple checks carried out, drivers will give themselves a greater chance of enjoying a hassle and incident-free season on the roads," he said.
Meanwhile, West Mercia casualty reduction manager Sergeant John Roberts has stated that vehicle maintenance is "essential" during the winter months, the Evesham Journal has reported.
