A record month in sales has seen Mini UK achieve its highest-ever volume.
The company sold some 8,764 units across its 150 UK dealerships in September 2007, with year-to-date statistics already higher than the record set in 2005.
Data from cleangreencars.co.uk show that the firm is doing well in the environmental stakes as well, calling Mini the most improved manufacturer in the industry.
"From the first generation Mini Cooper in 2001 to the current model today, Mini has cut CO2 emissions by over a fifth," the company commented.
Earlier this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the automaker announced that its global sales figures were heading towards the 220,000 region for 2007.
Mini is owned by German manufacturer BMW, although it is based in Cowley, England.
Those who like the Mini look but would prefer a larger car may consider purchasing the Mini Clubman, which has more boot space and leg room.
