Mazda’s CX-7 sports crossover has been made available for pre-order and will be ready for delivery from September.
According to the automaker, the CX-7 will combine sports car handling with the practicality of a sports utility vehicle.
Customers will be able to choose from five exterior colours when they order – solid black, mica shades of blue, red and grey and metallic silver.
Other options available include black or stone leather upholstery as well as facilities such as front and rear parking sensors, satellite navigation, a roof carrier and a detachable tow bar.
Rob Lindley, managing director of Mazda UK, said: "The Mazda CX-7 is a ground-breaking new sports crossover vehicle that delivers sports car-style performance and handling, along with sports utility comfort and practicality – all in one highly desirable package.
"This is a great new Mazda and we anticipate very strong demand."
All versions of the CX-7 will be mechanically identical, with a 2.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine, a six-speed manual gearbox and Mazda’s unique four-wheel drive system.
