Overall rating 4/5
The Mazda 6 may not be as luxurious or as practical as some of its rivals, but it is one of the most enjoyable to drive and reliable to own: two mass-market attributes that are hard to fault.

Overall rating 4/5Although it might not be a class leader in the family saloon market, the Mazda 6 does have buckets of mass-market appeal. Cheaper to run that the Ford Mondeo, with plenty of space in both front and back (as well as a very useful 483 litre boot), and with agile, borderline sporty handling, its pros are numerous. The interior might not exude the same refinement and style the rest of the car does, but outside it is eye catching enough to match its sportier edge.
