Mazda has announced that its latest version of the Mazda2 will be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
According to the manufacturer, this variant of the range is "more than just a freshening of the current Mazda2".
The new model has been touted as a car that "represents the progression of Mazda’s Zoom-Zoom brand promise".
This ‘Zoom-Zoom’ philosophy is "a way of life", according to Mazda. The brand notion was launched in 2002 and was heralded by the release of the Mazda6.
While the new Mazda2 will have its debut in Geneva, it will not be the only new vehicle on show, as the Japanese automaker will also be displaying its Hazake concept car as well as a Mazda3, complete with high-powered diesel engine.
The Geneva Motor Show will take place between March 8th and 18th this year and will have a number of exciting models on show, including the new Lexus LFA, the Jaguar XKR, the Jeep Patriot and the Audi TT Roadster.
