The Audi Q7 is such a feature on UK roads that it's difficult to imagine a time when it wasn't around. Before the launch of the first-generation Q7 of 2005-2015, though, there were no SUVs wearing the famous four-ring badge. The current model is only the second Q7 ever built, and has been on sale since 2015. That's a long time for an Audi, but it has been updated frequently over the past decade. The Q7 received a heavy overhaul in 2019 with refreshed styling and a completely new dashboard, while in 2024 it got few styling, tech and lighting upgrades. Thanks to these, the Q7 can still hold its own in the premium large SUV sector.

Cupra Ateca

Cupra’s Ateca is the kind of car for people who want an SUV with a little bit of extra character. While its basing on the standard Seat Ateca means that it’s got all of those must-have practicality boxes ticked, the usual Cupra extras help to make this car more exciting both inside and out. Compared to the updated Volkswagen T-Roc R, Volkswagen Tiguan R, and Mini Countryman JCW, the Cupra Ateca still remains a sensible option as a used buy.
