A brilliant little car. Good performance, comfortable seats, excellent fuel economy, superb turning circle. Only downside: very thin paintwork, easily scratched.

After 10 years no real problems. Apart from regular service items, some odd replacements needed but very good for age. Road tax biggest continual outgoing, along with MOT requirement, which as it is in sync with annual service is an un needed imposition.

My car is reliable and comfortable and good vaue for money.

I bought this car new and am completely satisfied with all aspects of it. It has had one fault in 8 years with the electronics which was soon fixed. I can also recommend the main dealer for their attention over the years.

Not the most comfortable or powerful of cars but practical small estate so easy to park and great if you have dogs which is why we bought it.

My 3rd Skoda - 2 bought from new, one pre-owned. Great all-rounder; meets all my needs. Almost totally reliable - certainly never let me down. Only concern re current car is running costs - 1.6 auto. Will probably downsize to Citigo to achieve lower running costs Dealers excellent. Totally reliable and helpful, but getting more expensive

Cheap to own and run. Reliable, easy to work on. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Decent equipment levels.

A lot of interior rattles and instrument settings like the phone connection is to complicated. Everything else good especially the dealer service.

I love this car. The gear change is smooth and you feel confident driving. Hence I have kept it from new for the last 13 years. It still gives me pleasure to drive and repair costs have been minimal.

I have owned my 08 Skoda Fabia Sport 16v since July 2010, when it was two years old. It is my ninth Skoda since I bought my first Favorit in 1991. I have covered only 19k miles in the last three years, largely because I was made redundant two years ago and no longer drive daily. As with the previous eight models, the car is reliable, economical - I regularly get 40+ mpg on regular unleaded - and quite rapid when I want it to be. With the rear seats down and the rear parcels shelf out, it is Tardis-like in terms of load carrying capacity. I was considering trading it in for a Fabia VRs but, to be honest, I cannot justify getting rid it just for the sake of a new(er) model, and will probably drive it into the ground. Being a Skoda, I will probably still be trying to drive it into the ground in 10 years time!

This is a very driver friendly car that is economic to drive and very responsive to the driver and is no slouch in terms of speed or correct acceleration. internally it is comfortable with better than average leg room.

Good, comfortable, and practical runaround with ample storage space for my needs. Runs very well, but not incredibly fuel-efficient. My only complaint is that the dark dials are difficult to read unless dash is illuminated (i.e. lights are on).
