Had my Focus at 32000 miles now 91000 had very little trouble with it apart from servicable items like brake discs pads battery. Does 60+mpg on a run and 48 mpg rural driving. Still a lively fun car to drive.

Very reliable and comfortable and a pleasure to drive. Fuel consumption around town isn't the best but not too bad.

I am very happy with my ford focus, which i have had for about 6 years. However as I have recently received a small windfall I am contemplating changing to a vehicle that I can use to tow a trailer for my horse.

For a tall person, seating position is excellent with good all round visibility. Acceleration is good and the engine is powerful enough to cope with motorway driving for long distances. Space within the car is comfortable for 5, with a boot large enough to accommodate most luggage requirements. Back seat fold down could be flatter - makes fitting in larger items more difficult than it needs to be but there is nonetheless plenty of space for piling in random items to take to the rubbih dump.

What a brilliant automobile. 90,000+ miles new OHC belt and auxiliary belt and no worries for another 100,000 miles. I've owned them all from Triumph Herald through Fiats, Mazdas, VWs, Vauxhalls, Rovers, MGs, and none beats this remarkable vehicle for moving people and household stuff efficiently and economically. Of course older cars have their individual quirks but who cares when they do what they say and promise in the brochure! Thanks Ford...what a winner,

Basic car with usual extras, functional and reliable but not exciting just everyday use for A to B journeys.

Very economical motor, but lacks the comfort of other estates that I have had. Good for short runs but lacks the comfort on long runs, and lacks cruise control for long runs also. Reliable in the morning which is a bonus. starts first time without a problem, would recommend the focus estate for a local area work car but not for distance work.

An incredibly reliable and trustworthy car. Quite the best overall in 54 years of motoring.

ford focus is the best car I have ever owned for reliability as I have had the car for about 5 years and the only thing that ive had done to it is replace the battery and tyres.

I have not long had this current car but it is my third Focus Estate which I suppose speakes for itself. Each successive model improves on the last in all ways, the equipment levels improve as does the fuel economy handling, technology, good looks & I just love the quick clear windscreen. The luggage space is as good as ever, it suits my needs with all the stuff that you need to carry for two young kids the boot can get very full very quickly. Long trips are as ever a breeze with only moderate external noise & little engine noise. The only complaint I have is the head rests do not adjust as well on the previous model which can cause a bit of neck strain but I am over 6 feet tall so that is always an issue. Allin all the new Focus Estate is a great all round family car. I do wish it was an ST Estate!

Satisfactory vehicle for our purposes

This is an extremely reliable, comfortable car to drive on long or short distances. The space available without dropping the seats is considerable and even better with the back seats laid flat. I have complete confidence in using the car and as a single woman this is extremely important to me.

Great car and would recommend to anyone. Had a 1.8 diesel Focus before and this has virtually the same performance and MUCH better economy (fuel costs have gone right down now) so great family car to get.

a very nice car have had it from new. have had some long journeys in it 400 miles round trips, and is very good all round.

Basically a very boring car. Gets you from A to B in a reliable fashion.
