Overall rating 3.5/5
The MG ZS is, like the rest of the Z range MGs, essentially a performance enhanced Rover. Like its MG companions, it runs the risk of growing increasingly dated as the years move on, but there is still plenty to entice in such a dynamically exuberant car.

Overall rating 3.5/5The base model Rover in this case is the 45 (in turn a face-lift of the Rover 400), a family saloon which although not known for being a source of much excitement to drivers, is rendered genuinely thrilling and exciting under the MG badge. Added sports suspension and a smooth-yet-powerful 2.5 litre KV6 engine give it real sporting flair, while neat handling and a refined composure at all speeds make it as comfortable to ride in as it is enjoyable to push.
