Vehicle details
1979 3 door 1600 Sport
1600 X flow with new head gasket, new timing case/sump gasket set, new battery, new master cylinder (all new bits jan '24), Twin 40's, silicon hoses, alloy rad, new electronic ignition and dizzy, Wosp starter motor (refurbished by Wasp apr '25), World Cup cross member, lightened flywheel (new), 4 speed box, standard diff, battery in boot, alloy race fuel tank, Gaz adjustable coilovers, linked suspension, track rods rose jointed, wide tunnel, rear discs with wildwood calibers, hydraulic handbrake, Sparco bucket seats, full harnesses, roll cage, working heater. The engine and gearbox do leak oil slightly which hasn't really bothered me as I had planned to put an ST170 engine and type 9 gearbox in the car. The car was fully rebuilt and resprayed in 2018.
Body work is good and the car looks absolutely mint. The only bit of rust was on the bonnet which I replaced with a brand new steel one. The bumpers, rear spoiler and door cards were tired, so I replaced them with decent brand new carbon fibre examples (May '24).
