It does the job

The only let down is the reliability. I expect to spend £1000 p.a. on repairs. Problem areas are suspension, turbo-charger, battery & electrics.

I love my car and would purchase a Ford Focus again although I am not so keen on the look of the newer models.

I am happy with my currant car(Ford Focus). It suits my needs, local and sometimes longer trips. And up to now has not let me down.

It has been the only model I have owned which I would buy again. It's comfortable, easy to drive and has been reasonably reliable.

This is a great family car. Lots of space, great handling and comfortable ride.

A good economical family car which is reliable and won't break the bank on maintainence and servicing

Basically a good car but spoiled by expensive parts, sundries and fitting costs (pollen filters, refilling FATS tank etc).

I use my car for a daily 60 mile + commute and can't fault this car. Running costs are excellent, get 60mpg+ without trying too hard. Performance more than adequate off motorway travelling and plenty of space for passengers plus luggage. What more do you need in a car !!

High emissions hit me in the wallet each time I have to renew its road tax and my residential parking permit. There's quite a bit of road noise in the cabin but have just changed tyre brand to offset this. However, it starts first time and has cost me very little in repairs in over six years of ownership (tyres/brakes/wiper blades) with minimal servicing as it approaches 85k. The gear shift is slick along with a dynamic driving ability mated with a comfortable drivers seat making each trip a pleasant drive.

A reliable, reasonably comfortable and well-performing car. High fuel costs are the main minus. Good performance is the main plus. Overall, a sound car.

The car is a good run around for an average family. I don't like using Ford for servicing, having been ripped off by a local dealer. The car runs well but is suffering from a lack of comfort now.

Does it's job for the price. Solid seats, rigid ride. Some good features e.g variable wipe, heated front screen.

Iam very pleased with my current car. This is the first Ford i have purchased and regret not owning one earlier. My next purchase will be a Ford .

The focus is a practical, reliable car, my car is a zetec with additional packs including built in sat nav which is great, it handles we'll is very economical including mileage, tax and services, the engine is responsive but lacks a bit of power. Overall a good car.

very good car powerful with a lot of torque a very good runner for the two of us miles getting a bit high as I have to drive it over a hundred miles a day.

Generally a good run around car . However the the drive is quite noisy past the drivers windows and the night time driving can be difficult due to very poor headlights
