The A1 is compact enough for smooth parking around the historic city centre, while its smart suspension and solid build make light work of the sometimes uneven urban road surfaces. Outside the city, you’ll find the A1 stays composed on longer A-road stretches and copes well with the rural lanes that connect Leicester to Market Harborough and beyond.

If you spend a lot of time in rush hour traffic or on school runs, the A1’s economical engines are a real advantage – great fuel economy helps keep costs down. Leicester does not currently operate a Clean Air or Low Emission Zone, but lower-emission petrol and diesel models will give you peace of mind for any future changes.
