Showcasing a stylish design, vast amounts of interior space and a bargain starting price (for a car of this size), it’s already become a popular choice in the electric SUV class.

Why buy a used Enyaq?

Skoda is a brand renowned for offering spacious and affordable family cars, and carrying those traits into an electric era is a tough task. But, with the introduction of the Enyaq iV, it hasn’t disappointed, and is definitely worth considering if you’re in the market for an electric SUV.

High up on the reasons to choose the Enyaq is just how roomy it is inside. Thanks to Skoda using a dedicated electric car platform, it frees up a lot more space than a regular petrol or diesel car. It really is vast inside, with room in the back being perhaps the most impressive. Even tall adults will be able to get comfortable behind a taller front-seat passenger. It’s brimmed with storage spaces and useful family touches too – including rear sun blinds, for example – while the 585-litre boot is larger than that of the equivalent combustion-powered SUV.

Here’s a short history of the Skoda Enyaq.

Skoda teased the Enyaq over various stages, first with its name, then in heavy camouflage and then the interior before it was eventually revealed in full in September 2020. First deliveries wouldn’t start until the middle of 2021.
At a similar time, Skoda also announced the introduction of a racier-looking SportLine model, bringing styling changes inside and out.
Later in 2021 Skoda introduced a sportier all-wheel-drive option known as the 80X. A high-spec (and limited-edition) Founders Edition model launched at a similar time, bringing a range of high-end touches.

What should I look for when buying a used Enyaq?

As the Enyaq is still quite a new model, very little is known about its reliability. However, considering Skoda’s recent track record, there should be little to be concerned about. The only real thing to be aware of is that not all Enyaqs come with quick rapid charging, as this was instead optional.
