The first XK was introduced over 60 years ago, merging a powerful engine with high-performance and good looks. Today it is much the same, although its ride is far more refined, its handling more precise and performance honed to produce more power. The standard model comes with a 5.0 litre engine, but there are supercharged options (XKR and XKR-S), which up the power even further. Jaguar's calling card may be sophistication and poise, but the XK is proof that they can do raucous as well as they can do refined.
