Overall rating 4/5While it might not be as fun and quirky as the Matiz, which it replaced, the Spark is a solid, mature supermini, which is basic but serves its purpose well.

Overall rating 4/5The successor to the Daewoo Matiz (Daewoo has now been taken over by Chevrolet), the Spark is a supermini which aims to be fun and nimble in and around city streets. Unlike the car which it succeeds however, the Spark is a bit bigger, and so brings with it more interior space - a solid 170 litres of boot space, which is extended up to 568 with the rear seats folded flat. Suffering slightly with a lack of refinement, the Spark doesn't fare too well when at speed or over long distances, but handling is involving and responsive; especially in tight situations (its turning circle is less than 10 metres).
