Overall rating 4/5The Boxster may be positioned as the entry-level model to the Porsche range, but this doesn't mean that it isn't a fiercely powerful and exciting car.

Overall rating 4/5Sharp handling, impressive power and an all-round exhilarating drive make the Boxster just as thrilling as its bigger brother the 911, but with a more simplistic approach to equipment and finishings it is not quite as luxuriously kitted out. Performance-wise it delivers across all engines, with the smaller 2.7 litre option providing more than enough get up and go. With just two seats and little in the way of storage space it's not designed with practicality in mind, but it's unlikely anyone buying one would hope for as much. Instead, they'd likely be happy with owning one of the best roadsters ever built.
