Overall rating 4.5/5First released in the UK in 2005, the Chrysler 300C has been one of the few European successes of the ill-fated American manufacturer over the last decade. Although not quite a match for its rivals, it is an interesting, comfortable and different alternative of serious quality.

Overall rating 4.5/5It's a surprise the Chrysler 300C has done so well, considering it is a hulking beast of a car, boasting space and bulk to rival any sizeable mid-sized exec, and a distinctive American style which makes it stand out on UK roads. The cabin, while large and airy, isn't as nicely fitted out as some of its European rivals, but on the road it more than matches up. Tight and responsive to handle - although not overly agile - the 300C is at its best when cruising on the motorway, when its size and power (236bhp on overboost), has room to exert itself.
