Coming from a long and illustrious line of excellent (performing and looking) DB models - which includes James Bonds' iconic DB5 - the DB9 builds on the range's history, keeping its sleek, traditional design, stupendous power, and dynamic, precise handling. Practicality and economy are - as to be expected - woefully poor, but it's unlikely anyone is going to consider a £100,000 sportscar when looking for a cheap run-around. For something which provides a drive that is exhilarating, powerful, good looking and fun however, there's plenty in the DB9 to please.
