Early DB11s launched with a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine (600-630hp). In 2017, Aston Martin introduced a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 (around 510hp) sourced from Mercedes-AMG. Both come with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive.

Every DB11 receives a sharp, Mercedes-based infotainment system. You can navigate the large screen via an intuitive rotary control and explore everything from satellite navigation to high-quality audio. Other tech features aim to make driving and parking easier – think 360-degree cameras and auto-park assist.

It depends on the engine choice. In theory, you'll be able to achieve up to 29mpg with the V8 model and 25mpg with the V12. But realistically, expect a little less, especially if you're going to be putting your foot down.
