To make sure you are fully up to date with what is going on and when, vcars.co.uk have produced this Euro Wallchart 2012. Like vcars.co.uk, the chart has been designed with NO FUSS in mind. It’s quick, simple and easier than a Stuart Downing cross to cut out and keep. Here’s hoping England surprise us all, and get out of the group stage.

For the first time on record, England doesn’t expect. Despite a new Manager, Champions League success for one of our domestic teams and a squad that contains more star-studded names than a rocker’s denim jacket, no-one seriously thinks Roy Hodgson’s men will lift Europe’s biggest prize on July 1st.
That, however, hasn’t stopped us here at VCARS from getting excited about the giant football kielbasa about to hit our TV screens.
Okay, Gareth Southgate, Andy Townsend and Adrian Chiles hardly set the pulse racing, but that shouldn’t stop us settling down, cold fridge full to capacity and enjoying Spain, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands duking it out for top honours.
In the next group, there’s more dark horses than a Black Beauty look-a-like competition – Portugal, England, Poland and Russia are all in with a, admittedly unlikely, chance to ‘do a Greece’ and win out against the heaviest odds. Here’s hoping.
Come on boys!

In the meantime, here are some of our euro predictions:
Paul (Communications)
“I think the Netherlands will be the eventual winner – Van Persie, Huntelaar, Van Der Vaart, Robbens and Schneider are an incredible attack quintet. I think England will lose to France before beating Sweden and Ukraine, winning the group. They’ll play Italy in the Quarters, beat them then go out to the Netherlands.”
Paul (VCARS Board)
“I think the Germans will win. The Spanish are favourites but I think their lack of a goalscorer (Villa’s injured and Torres has lost the plot) will cost them. Although Bayern lost the CL final, I think the Germans still have a very strong squad. I think France will turn us over, we will draw with Sweden and beat Ukraine. We will scrape through on goal difference and get done by Spain in the quarters.”
Darren (VCARS Board)
“I think Germany will win it in their usual efficient style. England will go out at group stages with three draws. Ukraine to be the surprise package.”
