British Car Auctions’ Walsall branch has been awarded the Lex Cup for its performance over 2007.
The firm, which hosts Lex car sales twice weekly, usually sells more than 85 per cent of vehicles for the firm.
It also handles more than 500 Lex cars which is particularly impressive for one of British Car Auction’s "smaller centres", according to Lex’s national auction manager Ken Boothe.
He commented that it was a "great pleasure" to give the cup to the Walsall team.
"The management and the staff at Walsall demonstrated the maximum commitment to the Lex accounts throughout 2007 and – equally importantly – generated the buying power on the auction hall floor to deliver real results," he said.
British Car Auctions operates 21 sites across the UK, including locations in Edinburgh, London and Manchester Belle Vue.
It also has branches in Austria, Germany and Sweden.
