Seat has donated three Ibiza Ecomotive 1.4 TDI cars every month for a year – in order for the DVLA to encourage more people to use the online or telephone methods to purchase their VED (tax disc).
Any motorist who uses the service will be automatically entered into the draw for one of the zero-charge CO2 emission vehicles.
Andrew Rhodes, DVLA’s Customer Services Director, said: "With the home nations’ absence in Euro 2008 it may seem there is little to smile about this summer.
"But, thanks to Seat, the DVLA will be giving away three new cars each month while reminding all our customers just how quick and easy it is to use our electronic services. If you use the online or telephone service, you don’t even need to find your MOT or insurance documents, as we automatically check them for you, and the service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and takes less than four minutes to complete."
The draws will take place until 31st May 2009.
