Hi, I put the wrong oil in my car (Ford focus 52 plate) and after 20mins white stuff comes from EGR hose. What will happen if I carry on driving as normal? The oil said it was for petrol car, which is what my car is.

Engine oils are not all the same – it’s important to use the correct specification and viscosity for your car and this will be clearly shown in the vehicle handbook.
I’d recommend calling a local garage immediately and telling them exactly how much and what type of oil you’ve put in the engine. They’ll be able to advise whether you can continue to drive or will be able to arrange to drain the oil and fill with the correct specification.
