Dacia may be able to trace its roots back to the 1960s, but it only started selling cars in the UK in 2013. It quickly gained a reputation for cars that vastly undercut key rivals by offering a no-frills approach. It kicked things off with the Sandero, which arrived as the UK’s cheapest car when it went on sale in 2013.
But fast forward over a decade and Dacias have become more luxurious, though they arrive with price tags that are a long way under those offered by alternatives. Since Dacia cars often have a low price to begin with, used examples can be purchased for a very low price - so they’re great for drivers shopping on a budget.
