Located just south east of Birmingham, Warwickshire's most famous inhabitant is undoubtedly William Shakespeare, who was born and lived in Stratford-upon-Avon. Several major motorways run through the county including the M40 and the M6, and so the area is well linked to much of the busiest road networks in England.
