Ferruccio Lamborghini established the brand after being let-down by a supercar brand based in Maranello with a prancing horse on its logo. Ferruccio’s tractor business was doing well, and it funded Lamborghini’s first model - the 350 GT, featuring a V12 engine. This was followed by the 400Gt, a 2+2-seater. But Lamborghini found its direction with the beautiful mid-engined Miura, which was an engineering feat and one of the best-looking cars ever made.
The brand has a long history of V12 engine supercars such as the Countach, Diablo, Murcielago, Aventador, etc. Meanwhile with Audi taking ownership, the Italian brand also ventured into developing a smaller supercar in the form of the V10-engined Gallardo, followed by the Huracan. However, with world’s increasing affection for SUVs, Lamborghini debuted the Urus, its second SUV after the LM002.
