New Fiesta backed by ambitious marketing campaign

Ford has announced that the brand new Fiesta, due to go on sale next month, will be endorsed by the company’s most ambitious marketing campaign to date.

TV viewers can look forward to seeing the new model, expected to be the best yet, when the first advert screens on Channel 4 at 9pm on Friday. The Fiesta will also feature in the press, online and through direct mail.

Ford’s marketing team has reinvented the 30 year-old Fiesta brand for the ‘now’ generation, emphasising its exciting new features and stunning looks.

Ford of Britain’s marketing director Mark Ovenden said: "Fiesta is one of Britain’s best selling small cars and is best known for its reliability, great driving dynamics and good value. We aim to show the public that the all-new Fiesta retains its brand values but we have added our passion for great design and new technology."

The Fiesta has always been popular with used car customers, not least because of its excellent reputation and brand durability. First launched in 1976, the car has grown to become one of the best-selling small hatchbacks in Britain.
