Cam belt change intervals are always quoted in both mileage and time (whichever is the sooner) but can vary by many years/thousands of miles between different fuels/engines in a model range.
It’s always a good idea to check with a dealer as manufacturers do revise their recommendations from time to time.
Don’t be tempted to try to extend belt life beyond the recommended interval – a new belt is much cheaper than a new engine, which is likely to be required if the belt breaks.
