The 2017 Crafter marked a monumental shift for VWs largest commercial vehicle. Breaking away from its previous joint-venture architecture with the Mercedes Sprinter, the 2017 second-generation model was designed entirely in-house by Volkswagen. It was widely celebrated upon launch, securing major industry accolades like the Parkers Van of the Year award. This long-wheelbase high-roof panel van offers a vast interior and an excellent starting point for a camper conversion project. Its finished in Indium Grey metallic and has 16 alloy wheels together with rear privacy glass. The cargo area has partial thermal lining and has been professionally floor lined as well as side / roof carpet lining with overhead LED lights. Theres three clean and comfortable seats up front with plenty of head and leg room. Its powered by VWs reliable 2.0 diesel engine which gives lively performance and is ULEZ compliant.
