No major problems. A bit more shelf space would be useful.

A good, simple car which has lasted well with regular servicing. I do though rather regret downshifting to the Polo from my previous Golfs.

Good car shame about the car tax

low mileage now I have retired never had any problems in 3 years,handles well good car for a woman and got enough dig when required.

Economical car with excellent performance. Very comfortable and although a relatively small car it drives well on a long run. Plan to replace with the same model next year.

It takes me from A to B. It's totally reliable and doesn't cost a lot to run. I'm very happy with my low maintenance Polo.

Does everything the makers said it would. Nice handling . Excellent fuel consumption. Quiet. All round good small car.

A good all round small car. The only fault I find is with the gearbox, it's easy to select the wrong gear.

I find this car disappointing and have needed quite a few big repairs for suspension problems. It is also not as economic as I thought.

I'm quite happy with my car as I only do a couple of thousand miles per annum.

Cracking car,16000 miles second car sporty and economical.Toured 3500 miles in Europe this summer 50 mpg quiet and fast,loved the extra sun roof and cruise control why buy diesel far better value than a GTI.

90000 hard miles,new engine 30000 mile since great car,still looks good and tight like my other polo 2 years and 16000 miles.

we bought a new polo 1.2 tdi se in 2011. It has been superb to date.Our dealer Barnards VW of Stowmarket are first rate in every aspect, great service, and very friendly staff. The Polo is a great car, strong, reliable, and if you run it on Shell V power diesel it pulls very well.It is low geared so don't put it in top gear under 60. It does 65 ish to the gallon and only £20 road tax. VWs are great cars, there is very little on the market to touch them in every aspect. They are a real drivers car, where man and machine work as one.Great road holders, and very stable on flooded roads

An amazing car no road tax, no congestion charge 72 mpg and plenty of zooooooooom I love it !!!!!!!!!

Good all round small car.

The Polo was purchased from a local main Vauxhall dealer almost twelve months ago. I am very happy with the car and enjoy driving it even though I am am my seventies (just).
