Ineos launched its automotive division in 2022, with this petrochemical company entering into carmaking with its Grenadier. The brainchild of Ineos owner Jim Ratcliffe, the Grenadier aimed to take up the space left by the original Land Rover Defender, albeit with a few modern touches.
Backed by BMW engines and gearboxes, the Grenadier has been designed as an out-and-out workhorse capable of tackling difficult terrain and poor conditions without breaking a sweat. Currently, the Grenadier is the only car offered by Ineos, though you can also get it as a pick-up truck in the Quartermaster specification.
